We travelled all the way to Holland to pick up One Shot, and bring him back to Scotland. He comes from the 'A'far' cattery, and we thank Michele and Henk very much for allowing us to have him. One Shot has a wonderful soft nature and is a very cuddly boy.
After arriving in January 2005 having already gained his Dutch Championship, One Shot had a fantastic first year on the UK show scene. He attended his first show in August 2005 at Chester and gained his first Challenge certificate, then went on to win another two consecutive CC's to get his Championship in October 2005. We then tried for Grand at 3 shows gaining only one reserve until May 2006 where he won his first Grand at Durham. One Shot then decided to go one better by winning another Grand, plus best in show Adult and Exhibit at the Abyssinian Cat Club Show just a month later. He topped it all by winning his final Grand Certificate and title at Chester, exactly one year since the beginning of his UK Show career!!
This was clearly not enough for Mr One Shot as he then went on to gain his Imperial Grand Challenge Certificates in only 6 shows. His Supreme show career took a little while to warm up however. On his third attempt at UK in 2008 he won his 1st UK Grand certificate, and the following year on November 21st 2009, much to my delight and relief, he won his 2nd UK Grand and title. Well done to my Superstar boy, from me and all his adoring fans!
One Shot is regularly tested negative for both FIV and FELV and Pk deficiency and PRA tested normal. He is at VERY LIMITED stud to fully tested and approved queens.
